DESCRIPTION:Learn in a classroom environment with your peers\, virtually\, with a BEVA® instructor online. \nCourse Length: 1 day \nTarget Audience: General \nWe live in a knowledge based society\, and the more critical you think the better your knowledge will be. Critical Thinking provides you with the skills to analyze and evaluate information so that you are able to obtain the greatest amount of knowledge from it. It provides the best chance of making the correct decision\, and minimizes damages if a mistake does occur. \nCritical Thinking will lead to being a more rational and disciplined thinker. It will reduce your prejudice and bias which will provide you a better understanding of your environment. This BEVA workshop will provide you the skills to evaluate\, identify\, and distinguish between relevant and irrelevant information. It will lead you to be more productive in your career\, and provide a great skill in your everyday life. \nCourse Objectives: \n\nUnderstand the components of critical thinking\nUtilize non-linear thinking\nUse logical thinking\nRecognize what it means to be a critical thinker\nEvaluate information using critical thinking skills\nIdentify the benefits of critical thinking\nRevise perspective\, when necessary\nComprehend problem solving abilities\n\nThis is a highly interactive and participative workshop. \n Supplement Material \nA student manual is available for the learner to follow during the instructor’s presentation. \nBenefits to the participants \nThroughout the activities\, the learners will look at various ways to perform critical thinking and its importance. \nCourse Evaluation \n A course evaluation will be completed by the learners once the course is finished. \nCertificate \nA BEVA® certificate of attendance will be provided once the participant completes the course. \nNote: The course outline may be subject to change. \n
