DESCRIPTION:Learn in a classroom environment with your peers\, virtually\, with a BEVA® instructor online. \nCourse Length: 1 day \nTarget Audience: Supervisory to mid-management managers \nLearning Objectives:\nUsing effective communication skills in moving an organization toward realizing its vision and mission. \nTo inspire others to feel more confident about themselves\, take action and realize their own personal goals and organizational goals. \nCourse Content:\n\nUnderstanding the key components of communications\nGaining respect and trust through communications\nReviewing the essential elements of effective communications\nConveying information easily and effectively\nAssessing personal communication skill levels\nIdentifying barriers to communications so that they can be addressed\nBuilding self-esteem and assertiveness\nMoving forward when being criticized\nDelivering effective presentations\nUnderstanding the importance of organizational communication\nUnderstanding the art of storytelling\n\nThis is a highly interactive and participative workshop.  Several self-assessment tools are used to help participants focus on personal areas that could be improved.  Participants will also work together in groups and teams and come together in plenary for group discussion\, sharing and learning. \nSupplement Material \nA student manual is available for the learner to follow during the instructor’s presentation. \nBenefits to the participants \nThroughout the activities\, the learners will to look at various topics to help them communicate effectively. \nCourse Evaluation \n A course evaluation will be completed by the learners once the course is finished. \nCertificate \nA BEVA® certificate of attendance will be provided once the participant completes the course. \nNote: The course outline may be subject to change. \n
