DESCRIPTION:Learn in a classroom environment with your peers\, virtually\, with a BEVA® instructor online. \nCourse Length: 2 days \nTarget Audience: General \nLearning Objectives: \nThis BEVA course is ideal for those who fear making presentations and speaking up in meetings.  In a safe\, encouraging environment\, we will tackle the butterflies that play havoc with your self-confidence and career success. \nLearn how to make powerful presentations and get your point across in meetings. \nCourse Content: \n\nOvercoming public speaking nerves\nIncrease confidence\nConnect with your audience\nRhetorical triangle\nHandle challenging participants\nVisual aids\nImpromptu speaking skills\nPresentation do’s and don’ts\nEffectively get your point across in meetings\nPractical opportunities\n\nThis is a highly interactive and participative workshop.  Several self-evaluation tools will be used to assist in the learning process.  Participants will also work in teams and groups on several change management exercises and then come together in plenary for group discussion\, sharing and learning. \n Supplement Material \nA student manual is available for the learner to follow during the instructor’s presentation. \nBenefits to the participants \nThroughout the activities\, the learners will look at different ways to have effective presentations and  meetings \nCourse Evaluation \n A course evaluation will be completed by the learners once the course is finished. \nCertificate \nA BEVA® certificate of attendance will be provided once the participant completes the course. \nNote: The course outline may be subject to change. \n
