DESCRIPTION:Learn in a classroom environment with your peers\, virtually\, with a BEVA® instructor online. \nCourse Length: 1 Day \nTarget Audience: General \nWomen make up half of the workforce. Unfortunately for women\, their male colleagues are promoted at a much higher rate. Women offer great work ethnics\, and bring something different from men to the workforce\, but many times it goes unnoticed.  In this workshop\, you will learn about how organizations can develop women leaders\, about the benefits of women in organizations\, as well as advancements for the future of women. You will learn how women in the workplace cannot only benefit the women themselves\, but also your organization as well. \nIn the Women in Leadership workshop\, participants will learn how women are changing the workforce. Through this workshop\, your participants will gain a new perspective on the workforce\, and what benefits can come from hiring and promoting women to higher positions. \nCourse Content:\n\nDiscuss the leadership gap between men and women\nLearn about women in various powerful positions\nDiscuss different traits associated with women in management\nUnderstand the different barriers facing women in leadership positions\nLearn about the benefits of having women in the workforce\n\nThis is a highly participative workshop. \nSupplement Material \nA student manual is available for the learner to follow during the instructor’s presentation. \nCourse Evaluation \n A course evaluation will be completed by the learners once the course is finished. \nCertificate \nA BEVA® certificate of attendance will be provided once the participant completes the course. \nNote: The course outline may be subject to change. \n
