English as a Second Language – Virtual – LANG 101​

Learn virtually with an instructor as a coach.

Course Length: Depending level of student (Online language assessment will be required to determine level)

Target Audience: General

Learning Objectives:

This course is to bring the student comprehension, oral and writing skills to Level A, Level B or Level C based on the Canadian Government language requirements.

Course Content:

• Online modules for understanding what a person reads (comprehension)
  • Online exercises
  • Coaching session
• Online modules to assist the student to speak
  • Online exercises
  • Coaching session
• Online modules to assist the student to write (spelling, grammar)
  • Online exercises
  • Coaching session

Student may take the English Competency Test to validate their English Level Skills.

Supplement Material

A student manual is available online for the learner to follow during the “English as a Second Language” course.
