Learning Objectives:
Provide participants with a recognition of what constitutes appropriate assertive behaviour; insight into their present ability to assert themselves; and development and application of communication techniques for responsible assertiveness at work.
Course Content:
“How assertive am I?”
o A self-assessment questionnaire on Assertive Communication Techniques
o Modelling and practice in applying the principles and techniques to specific work related situations
What it means to behave?
o Submissively
o Aggressively and assertively
o Recognizing the consequences of each of these behaviour
Benefits to the participants
Throughout the activities, the learners will learn to communicate in an assertive way.
Course Evaluation
A course evaluation will be completed by the learners once the course is finished.
Certificate
A BEVA® certificate of attendance will be provided once the participant completes the course.
