Description
Learn in a classroom environment with your peers, virtually, with an instructor online.
Course Length: 1 Day
Target Audience: General
Learning Objectives:
While resistance is the normal human reaction in times of change, this workshop equips leaders with skills to respond effectively to this resistance. Leaders often put a lot of pressure and stress on themselves to find the solutions to problems. Sometimes, especially during times of change, it’s important to listen and be attentive to others. A simple conversation can open minds and allow leaders to appreciate how the change is being lived, providing them with insights on how to lead others through resistance.
This workshop focuses on employee resistance to organizational change and how leaders can lead through this resistance.
Course Content:
- Participants will learn how to distinguish between a reaction to change vs a resistance to change. Change naturally will elicit a reaction;
- Participants will learn how to lead others through this reactive state and adapt to the change; and
- Participants will then explore what resistance to change means and develop skills that will enable them to respond effectively to resistance learning to transform resistance into engagement.
