Learning Objectives:
The last three years or so have had their share of challenges for all of us. Each of us have been challenged by a myriad of events in many different ways and adapted to meet the challenges at hand and often at a personal cost. As human beings we have now carry an emotional and psychological load far greater than humanity has ever seen before. And humans beings, we carry this load, wherever we go, whether in the workplace or at home, in our communities or in our families.
This workshop on stress and chronic stress is built as practical guide to exploring the topic and its implications for us and those around us who live within our ecosystem.
This session introduces participants to strategies and approaches that will enable them to respond versus react in times of crisis and stress. It is offered by an accredited professional coach with the International Coach Federation and Certified Workplace Mindfulness Facilitator-Coach.
Course Objectives:
- Gaining an understanding of your unique stress signature
- Gaining an understanding of stress hormones and the impact these have on self and work
- Exploring your window of tolerance and working with it
- Experience the difference between reacting and responding in difficult times
- Experience how to self-regulate strong emotions
- Explore specific strategies to address chronic stress

Course Evaluation
An evaluation will be completed by the learners once the course is finished and a survey will be administered to gauge the interest of participants to try further workplace-appropriate practices that can contribute to a workplace mental health and wellness strategy.
